Language Mediator
Translators and interpreters are also combined under the definition Language Mediators.Big problem for all language mediators is the natural inaccuracy of the language and the herewith combined communication. Language is no code and reflects no exact world, for it is grown with history and culture.
Translators, interpreters and language instructors do not just need to have the complete grasp of a language, but also have to know culture and history of the relevant country and have a good nose for the respective typical communication pattern and –technique.
Furthermore it is very important to own an above average knowledge of the mother tongue, which actually has to be translated.
It is also a must, according to the particular subject, to have further specific knowledge of the country or of the language.
